Silence means Something Good is Happening

I have been silent for awhile now. Not by choice though. The usual volume of work from my day job was reduced but going out to other places to promote the company had taken whatever time made available after the new staff was hired. So instead of getting it a little bit easier on the day job,I ended up doing more. No,no complaints here. I just want my share of readers to know that I am still here...and please bear with my absence.

'nuff with the sad news, the good news is I finally have my own internet connection at home so it will be easier for me to jot down my thoughts and new information and share it with you. :)

On technology news, I think this is something that is not so new but I might share it as well.

Japan with their electronic technology advancement came up with another idea on providing comforts to human. As an addition to their technology on automatic opening and putting down of toilet seat cover, a MP3 player is installed in the toilet where the user can listen to his own SD card. Great right? Well, TOTO of Japan seems to be coming with lots of ideas that contribute to the quality of life.

Everyone is starting their own business. I wish I have my own business to run too since somehow its been part of my daily routine when I was younger: selling. With ebay and Multiply sellers kicking off it was not more than once that I have tried to come up with my own online business. Unfortunately I was not able to come up with something that is worth investing. And online business is great, if I have to base it on the growing number of people. Actually I have something in mind for a business but I don't have much time to do it. Maybe when we get our own place I can start with the business.

We are still looking for a good neighborhood to settle down. For now, we are still staying at the folks' house, hoping that the vacant lot in front of their house will be offered at a lower price.

I am still obsessing about the interiors and what will I do when we get our own nest. Found this cute chairs on Etsy. I am hoping to locate similar chairs locally. :)

I went to an optometrist the other day to change my eyeglasses. I have been experiencing migraine lately and it is becoming a problem with my work. While waiting for my new eye glasses, I had a small chat with the optometrist. We discussed what are the dos and don't s when it comes to eye care.

She told me that washing your eyes and face in the evening is not bad to the eyes. She added that not washing your face will increase your health risk because your skin will be prone to acne. There is no scientific relationship between the eyes and washing. She also told me that washing the hair is okay even if you did not sleep the other night. The dizziness and blur that you felt and see is probably caused by the lack of sleep and tiredness.

A Sweet Little Boy is Born

I did not report to work yesterday because I have an appointment with my doctor and also I need some replacement for my eye glasses. And as I have mentioned on earlier blogs, there is nothing much to write about my life lately except I have been very busy, and technologies that might interest you seems to escape me lately.

All About Migraine

I have skipped blogging lately. I had plenty of unfinished entries because I often find myself running out of something to say in the middle of a blog. And organizing my thoughts has been a bit of difficult for me to do. There are so many things to do and things I think are supposed to happen simultaneously.

Etsy has been my favorite hang-out lately. If you count the poker sites that I have visited a dozen times while doing my online writing gigs for some clients, then maybe poker has been a good place to hang out too. For now, I have learned a lot about poker that I think I can now play them online. I have been writing about texas hold'em and the likes that it became a part of my weekend ritual reading about them. I have learned about full house, royal flush etc that I think I became a poker player in just two weeks of writing articles.

Last week, I wrote about backgammon. It was more difficult than the poker since I am not into board games. I have to read around five articles just to grasp the whole idea. So far, everything went well.

By November this year, I will be starting on my graduate studies. I hope that I will still be able to blogging and the hubby have encouraged me to get a wireless connection from one of the network providers in the country. I am hoping to work that out before the semester starts.

No bentos for now. I don't have time to fix myself a lunchbox. And I haven't wired my payment to kaoko. sigh. too busy, less time.

And since I am hooked with beads and all that, I am hoping to post something that I have learned about beads (ceramics, fabric and glass) in the next few weeks. I have that scheduled in my calendar..the only problem now is time..
