I know its been a while and I haven't blogged a bit. Work has been very busy. And there are trainings to attend to and the long weekend has been a perfect opportunity to sit down and do nothing for awhile. I hope everyone had a great time on their offline life.

Postcard Collection

source: flickr
I remember in my youth, the craze are on collecting things: coins, stationery, postcards and stamps. I have unearthed a collection of comic books from his old room.
Recently, while browsing bento blogs of fellow food lovers I stumble upon a postcard collector. She is a member of postcrossing where members of this community send cards containing random stamps from a certain country. I am not a collector type of person. Although I've tried to lessen the clutters of undergraduate studies book and notes collection in our room, I did not throw away P's collection.
For those who want to exchange stamps and start a friendship with fellow stamp collectors from other part of the world, you can visit the postcrossing website.
Hope you will have lot's of fun collecting items.

When Things Are Moving As You've Anticipated
..something comes along and complicates matters that you end up to square one.
That's how I felt last May and until now I am in the crossroad of choosing a new path for my career. But I am going to take the risk.
Currently, I took an entrance examination for Graduate Studies, hoping to move up a little bit on the academe ladder. It was an attempt to fulfill the need to take greater responsibilities with my current load.
Is there really a need to take up Graduate studies after few years of working as a technical professional?
Maybe yes. If you have been in the technical field for so long and think that you are ready to take managerial responsibilities, then it is now time to jump into the wagon.
Grab your pencil and start searching for potential field to focus on (if you are planning to deviate from your current job). Who knows what opportunity might crop up?
About me? I will probably taking up Technology Management, if my qualification meets their criteria.
